Core Values:

The  NATBC recognizes that while all dogs are wonderful, purebred dogs are more predictable and make better pets thus perpetuating the human/animal bond.  The NATBC is committed to breeding for type and function in order to create, preserve and improve the Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka as a companion dog suitable for the increasing modern urban population.

CSo what is exactly is a Tsvetnaya Bolonka? The Tsvetnaya Bolonka is a member of the bichon family that was almost extinct until after the Cold War. It is a small companion dog that is hypoallergenic, funny, clever beyond words and intensely loyal to its 'family'. Some are excellent 'mimics'; others are content to sit by the door and monitor who is allowed in or out. Is the Tsvetnaya Bolonka or Bolonka as we call it the dog for you? Peruse the NATBC'S website to learn more about the breed and to determine if a bolonka will fit your life style.

News and Updates for NATBC
We had hoped to have the club more formalized by this time. But as we make another effort to be recognized by the AKC, we have decided to retain the free membership in the NATBC until January 2015. The good news is we are growing.Approximately 500 registrations are listed in the NATBC registry.

The not so good news is that  the founders can no longer support the club from their own pockets. Therefore  subscription to the Breeder Referral page will happen by annual subscription of $15.00.  You must be a  member in the NATBC club in order to subscribe to the Breeder Referral page.  However dues are in abeyance for NATBC membership until January 2015. To join just download and complete the membership form. And this is a move toward professionalizing the club. Information about fees and membership can be found on the index page of the navigation menu.

Membership information to join can  be found on the index page of the website.
Membership applications should continue to be completed and returned to our membership chairperson
